ABOUT MEGANNE

I'm Meganne Belisle – the brains and creativity behind Butter Dream Cakes.

I was born and raised in Prince Edward County, where I now thrive as a passionate entrepreneur. Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve had a passion for cooking and baking. My grandma is my biggest inspiration. My first memories of baking were with her, spending time in her kitchen. Food is the glue that holds my family together.

By 15, I started creating and selling cakes part-time. The positive feedback I received, paired with my passion for cake design began my journey into pursuing this as a career. After graduating from Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Algonquin College, I took the Cake Designer program at Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts. Last summer, I moved back to my home town to expand my cake business Butter Dream Cakes, and now I get to share my passion in the place that I love.
