As you may know, Driverseat Kingston & Driverseat Belleville franchise co-owner Paul Tremlett is facing health issues for which his doctors strongly advised him to retire.
We’ve made a concerted effort to sell both franchises, while continuing to operate and deliver great service. Unfortunately, there is no indication that the franchises will imminently sell. Health must come first and we cannot continue to operate our Driverseat franchises. Therefore, effective immediately, the Driverseat Kingston and Driverseat Belleville franchises are closed.
Our customers, all five Chambers of Commerce, key contacts and friends have cheered us on every step of the way since our launch last fall, and for that we are truly grateful. We appreciate everyone’s support and encouragement during this difficult time, helping to get the word out to prospective buyers. We especially appreciate our teams of Coachmen and Coachwomen who stood by us during this period of uncertainty.
We embraced this business with a deep commitment and passion and are sad to close it down. The mission to help end impaired driving was our heartfelt goal. However, life must go on, and we will embrace the next chapter, after some needed rest and recovery time.

Continuing along the #tastetrail, Paul had the pleasure of taking this party of 4 for a custom wine tour on the Easter holiday weekend. Their lodging host at Compass Rose Suites recommended our flexible tailor-made approach. The 4-hour excursion included Waupoos Estates Winery & Restaurant The County Cider Company Del-Gatto Estates Ltd. Cape Vineyards Fifth Town Artisan Cheese & Lighthall Vineyards They sampled wonderful wines, #cider & #artisancheese while Paul chauffeured them around safely in the private luxury of their own vehicle.
