About Us

From the Homestead is a small business in Prince Edward County, where I create handmade capes, coats, quilts, clothing, plush animals and so much more.  I have been creating craft items for 40 years and selling them at local Craft events and fleamarket stalls. .  2023 I have been doing the Quinte West Popups and working towards opening a small retail space for A Country Christmas Gathering tour November 3,4,5 and 10, 11, 12, 2023.  The tour is a mapped route of small business showcasing and selling their items for 2 weekends in November.   I have chosen my home in Prince Edward County as my location for the tour this year, opening a small Amish Shed on my property at 2999 Victoria Road, Carrying Place, Ontario.  Everyone is welcome to join me at My homestead for some Campbells hot apple cider, and some Christmas gift shopping.  My location will be open 9 am – 4 pm for the tour.
