Special Effects Decorating first opened their doors in Belleville, Ontario in 2009 by owners Sheryl & Jason Delorme. In 2013, they relocated their shoppe to an 1850's century home located in beautiful downtown Brighton, Ontario.

Together, Sheryl and Jason have created a very unique niche shoppe that is best described as a Lifestyle Boutique. Their collection of incredibly delicious local gourmet food products offer a wide variety of choices to create the most amazing and tantalizing meals for the novice or the chef in any family. The selection of quality gourmet foods also offers beautiful gourmet gift baskets anytime of the year.
Wander into their farmhouse style commercial kitchen that was designed by Jason and Sheryl collectively to showcase the appetizing and tempting gourmet meals all created from their locally sourced food producers. the intimate surroundings is perfect for their gourmet tastings which is offered twice a month. As you slowly wander beyond their kitchen you will find an area showcasing home decor, a design studio where they offer a variety of quartz, granite, laminate countertop styles along with designer backsplash tiles and flooring to help you design the perfect space. You will also find a selection of beautiful fabrics for upholstering and their wide selection of Fusion Mineral Paint products for those who want to complete their own projects. As a designer with a full time contractor, both Sheryl and Jason have painfully restored the 185 year old home into a showpiece that hopefully leaves you feeling inspired.

Their You-Nique Boutique is brimming with beautifully made Italian clothing and a wide selection of ladies accessories to help you complement your newly purchased piece or that perfect gift for a friend.

Special Effects Decorating also offers Fusion Mineral Paint Workshops, where clients learn to complete projects such as giving their kitchen cabinets a fresh new look, to creating their own unique piece for their home, such as clocks, pillows,table runners and artwork just to name a few.
