About Us

The STIRLING FESTIVAL THEATRE Inc. (SFT), founded in 1996, is a not-for-profit provincially incorporated organization with federal charitable status.

We operate under the oversight and governance of a volunteer Board of Directors leading a small staff, contracted workers and our amazing SFT community volunteers dedicated to producing and presenting a wide variety of live entertainment experiences as well as providing education opportunities for youth throughout our region.

We all work hard to create our productions and to bring other artists to the historic Stirling Theatre in Stirling ON. There are so many stories to be told…!

A cultural and economic driver in the area, the SFT is the only professional theatre in a 90 km radius from Stirling, ON that operates year-round and attracts audiences from as far away as Peterborough, Kingston, Ottawa and the eastern GTA.
