About Us
The Village Green is a unique and charming shop located in the heart of Foxboro. Karyn Wright’s mandate is to provide as natural, as local and as reasonably priced goods as possible. What started as an organic garden center has evolved over 16 years to be a source of many locally produced goods including Madoc’s Jerk in a Jar; Tweedlebee’s beeswax candles; lavender products; handmade soaps from Prince Edward County and good quality essential oils. As well, there is a great selection of teas, sea salts, oils, vinegars, eco-friendly household cleaners and a collection of natural stone and handmade glass bead jewellry.
The Village Green is the only local source of Pomona’s Universal Pectin – a unique product that gels without sugar and is sugarfree itself.
In the spring, the greenhouse is filled with thousands of heirloom tomato seedlings getting ready for sale in May and June along with many locally-grown herbs and perennials.
And, of course, Terra Edibles’ (the VG's sister company) organically-grown seeds for heirloom vegetables (especially tomatoes), herbs and flowers are available year-round at the store.
