The Wellington Dukes are pleased to announce their partnership with the Belleville Bearcats organization. The Wellington Lady Dukes Midget AA team will play their home games out of the Quinte Sports & Wellness Center in Belleville as well as the Lehigh Arena Wellington and operate with the same professionalism as the Dukes Jr. A organization. The Lady Dukes will have all resources available to use at the Lehigh Arena/Duke Dome and practice at the facility.The Dukes organization's goal is to foster women's hockey in the Quinte area and give players a chance to play in a professional environment..Ken Clement, owner of the Wellington Dukes says, this is a great opportunity for myself and our organization to give back to the game we love while promoting our brand within the hockey community.Lynn Thibedeau, Chair for the Belleville Bearcats said, The Bearcat organization is excited for this joint venture with the Wellington Dukes for the Midget AA program. This will give our elite girls a chance to play top level hockey here in our community. We would like to thank the Dukes for this great opportunity, and look forward to growing girls' elite hockey.
