Who we are?

Wheelchair of Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in April of 2014 by Philanthropist and Motivational Speaker and CEO of Voice of Victory John Cairns.

The Need

Due to various financial hardship reason, aging population, accidents, health related illnesses, the increase need for mobility is substantial. Not only the recipient in need feels the hardship of immobility, but also the family, friends, and community are impacted.

The Impact

The delivery of a wheelchair to a person deprived of mobility improves the quality of life of the entire family. In gaining mobility, persons with various disabilities are given an opportunity to integrate themselves into society; by attending school, going to work, becoming a productive citizen of the community and better their own life.

Recipients are not the only ones whose lives are altered by the gift of a wheelchair. By a recipient gaining increased mobility, human resources, be it from family or friends, are being freed for both employment and education.

The Process

Gently used donations from individuals, hospital, Red Cross, Non-Profit Agencies, Medical Facilities, War Veterans and community organizations.

A criterion of references and professional guidelines of checks and balances will be in place to ensure proper fitting and designation of wheelchairs.

The donation and wheelchair delivery process will be monitored at every stage to ensure transparency and accountability. Once the wheelchairs have been successfully distributed, confirmation, thanks and a personalized photograph of a recipient with permission, may be made possible to donor and or sponsor.
